Step By Step Guide on How to Make an Automatic Farm in Minecraft
To make this farm players will need an open area to work with along with a clear underground area. It is better to light up the area to stop mobs from spawning.
At first, players will need to dig out a small area of 10 blocks long and 2 blocks deep. And also from the middle dig out a 2x2x2 (2 blocks long x 2 blocks breath x 2 blocks deep) area. This area will be used as a collection area.
Next place a chest in the 2x2x2 area. This chest will be storing the wool that the automatic farm will generate. Check the above image for a better understanding.
Thereafter place the hoppers and make sure that the hopper which is in the middle is connected with the chest and the rest of them flow into the middle. Please check the image below.
Then place powered rails on both ends and also place the normal rails connecting them together. Place Redstone torches on the side of powered rails to power them, as shown in the image above.
Place the hopper Minecraft on the rails as shown in the above photo. Then cover up the rails with grass blocks and place observers and make sure that the eye of the observer is facing backward as shown in the image below.
Then place solid blocks behind the observers and then place Redstone dust on the solid blocks as shown in the image above. After that put the dispenser above the observer as shown in the image below. And also don’t forget to put shears in the dispensers.
Then make a cage for the sheeps using glass as shown in the image above and also put the sheep inside the glass cage.
Now your farm is all set to make wool for you. As soon as the sheep will eat the grass, they will gain their wool again and that will trigger the observers and then the dispenser will release the shears and the wool will be stored inside the chest below.
